The GameAP blog is back. The old version had been sitting untouched for years and had aged badly, so instead of reviving it we rebuilt the blog from scratch — on a new platform and at new addresses.

New addresses #

The blog used to live on a single domain, gameap.blog, where the languages were told apart by a path prefix: gameap.blog/en/ and gameap.blog/ru/. Each language now has a domain of its own:

This lines the blog up with the rest of the project: the English-language resources live on gameap.com (website, documentation), the Russian ones on gameap.ru.

Links to the old gameap.blog domain keep working — they take you to the new addresses.

Every article is published in both languages. The switcher in the site header takes you to the same article on the other domain rather than to the home page.

What to expect #

  • Project news — GameAP release announcements, changes in the panel and the daemon, plugin ecosystem updates.
  • Guides — hands-on articles about deploying GameAP and running game servers: from installing the panel to fine-tuning.
  • Comparisons, benchmarks and deep dives — the things that don’t fit into the documentation.

The first big article is already in the works — load testing of popular game server control panels.
